Danbury MotorCaravans of Bristol, had earned their distinguished reputation as a quality-led industry leader by integrating cutting-edge technology into campervan conversions, focussing on the iconic VW T2. When Volkswagen phased out T2's in favour of the modern T6 and with new entrants now snapping at their heals, Danbury's owners needed to communicate their differentiation from the pack.
Having briefed Red Thread Creative to highlight their 'innovative' credentials within national media, the initial attention-grabbing campaign heralded years of successful, targeted marketing communications supported by a well-considered strategy and plan that we developed for their very niche audience.
Ad campaigns, vehicle brochures, large-format exhibition graphics, social media posts and print, all supported by our in-house creative services including copywriting and photography, contributed to Danbury's continued success.
With such dominant success, Danbury was subsequently acquired by an international, leisure vehicle company, introducing a new 'Big Agency'. The 'Big Agency' did what most 'Big' agencies do and deemed that a radical root and branch approach was necessary, utilising every conceivable creative resource to satisfy the vastly-increased budget. The new website development alone would not see the light of a screen for over a year.
In the meantime, their competitors were having a field day, gaining vastly superior Google page rankings. Eventually, the 'Big Agency' relationship broke down and Danbury turned once more to Red Thread Creative for a speedy solution.
